Everything you did in the Google Sheets status sheet has a place here. Here's where each part lives now.
A new tab for each updateOne register per month. Use the arrows at the top to move between months. The tab date is now Status as of.
Copying the last tab to start a new oneCarry over. Open items and anything marked Repeats monthly move forward. Items finished last month stay in that month's record.
The ST. column: 1, 2, 3A named status. Your codes still work: 1 In progress 2 Done 3 On hold. Three new ones cover what the sheet couldn't: 4 Waiting on others for items awaiting approval or another department such as Procurement, 5 At risk for items that are slipping, and 6 Cancelled for dropped items. Typing the number still sets the status.
Item, Date, Stakeholders, Owners, CommentsThe same columns. Changes save as you type (there's no Save button), and everyone sees them straight away.
Merged rows like "Q2 Earnings Results"Groups. In each section, use Add under to choose the heading a new row goes under, or New group heading… to start a new one. Corporate Governance rows are numbered 1.a, 1.b and so on automatically. You can also paste several rows copied from the sheet straight into the new row.
Highlighting key itemsTick Highlight on an item to feature it in the PowerPoint presentation.
Colour-coding cells to show what needs updatingFlags appear automatically. An item shows No update yet until it's updated this month, or until someone selects Nothing new? Confirm if it hasn't changed.
Flipping back through old tabsHistory on any item shows it month by month. The Changed since filter shows what has changed since last month. To find anything from any month since 2023, press Go to… (Ctrl K) and type a few letters.
Pasting links into a cellEvery item can carry one link, for example to a press release or a shared folder. Add it under the comments in the Detailed view, or from the ⋯ menu in Quick updates. It shows as Link ↗ next to the item.
